Do Women Really Start Going Downhill at 35?

I stumbled upon a disturbing article earlier this week regarding a Japanese study, which indicates that at age 35.09 women start "rapidly maturing." This is particularly scary to me as I'm on the brink of my 31st birthday. Do I really only have 4 more years left before I start going downhill? I sure hope not.

It's worth mentioning that the study was conducted by a skincare company in conjunction with a research university, so the results could certainly be skewed to achieve their goal of selling anti-aging products to a larger population. Cha-ching!

Over the past couple of years, I have noticed a few lines here and there, but otherwise I think I pretty much look the same as I did at 25. If anything, I've been more careful about my skin since my late 20s than I ever was before by wearing a tinted moisturizer each day with SPF 15 and protecting my face with a hat when I'm on the beach.

I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with the idea of aging gracefully and I realize that diet/exercise can only take you so far. This article made nervous that I'll have to consider the merits of botox, restylane and/or other products earlier than I'd hoped.

How do you feel about aging? Would you go the injection or plastic surgery route to keep that youthful glow?
