One sure sign that spring has arrived is that we have a river stream running through the back of our property due to all of the snow melt. Jim and I were obviously aware that some of our property consisted of wetlands, but the realtor assured us that over the years, he had never seen any water here. Well, guess again!
Sometimes when we're out in the backyard with Buster, the water is rushing by so quickly that you can't hear anything else. While we aren't sure where the stream starts or ends, we do know that it continues underneath the main road adjacent to our cul-de-sac.

| How far it goes is anyone's guess Thankfully, the builder added quite a bit of fill to our building envelope, so the house is perched well above this little body of water. On the bright side, I'm sure if we have children someday, they'll have a blast playing in and around this little stream! |
I love the title of this post! Such a good movie...I think this is when I was first exposed to Brad Pitt's beauty :). Your future kids will definitely enjoy that stream if they're anything like I was!
ReplyDeleteYeah, it was definitely a play off that movie. Brad Pitt was the hottest in Fight Club (I think), but A River Runs Through It is probably the first runner up. Glad you think the stream may actually serve a purpose (other than annoying me) someday :)
