Yes, the one Jim and I have been waiting for since January 2010...we are closing on our house this afternoon! We are experiencing SO many emotions at the moment -- joy, relief, anxiety about draining our savings and dread about another move/unpacking -- to name a few. It's unbelievable to think that when we placed the lot hold way back to January we weren't even married yet.
After getting settled, we're looking forward to being newlyweds again. Being able to relax without the stress of building, vendor meetings and numerous phone calls and emails each day from our mortgage broker, the builder's site rep, attorney, insurance agents, etc. My blog posts may be even more sporadic than usual since we won't have internet access until sometime next week (I hope). Keep your fingers crossed for us!

That is so exciting. I can't wait until the day I can leave this city and buy an actual house instead of living in an apartment!
